A forever favorite of “Mrs. Matt.” It includes chipotle chili peppers, which are smoked and dried for full flavor. This gives it a robust, rounded taste, smokey and hot, without the chemical flavor of liquid smoke. Great when used as a base for ribs and other BBQ, on eggs, wings, steak, tacos, chips, one’s own finger, in a funnel over one’s mouth, or in a glass with a straw.
Sweet and spicy! The ginger highlights the pineapple and peach, while the habanero reminds taste testers they’re alive. Great on any white meat: chicken, fish, Thanksgiving turkey if your grandma’s recipe is bland (pineapple instead of cranberry? That could work). Add heat to a piña colada for two kicks in one. The possibilities are endless.
Sweet and, well, supposedly harmless, at first. The honey complements the citrus in the orange for something fresh but not bitter. At first one might think they’re eating salad dressing, but then…the ghost pepper. It’s a sneaky one. Stay safe, friends! Be sure to use the buddy system and keep some milk on hand.
