I don't even like hot sauce! But I love the sauces from Off Kilter Sauce Company. Each one is unique and distinctively tasty. You know they are made with fresh ingredients. A lot of time and experimentation goes into each sauce. The Groovy Green with Jalepeno and lime makes everything taste like a party. Smoky Red turns boring into daring. I mix this with a little plain yogurt or sour cream and it turns into the best salad dressing. The pineapple peach habanero has just the right amount of sweet and spicy and that ginger taste comes right through. Cayenne Pepper is a daily go to sauce that dresses up the plainest of dishes. This stuff is genuinely incredible –– I'm a huge fan of hot sauce, and have tried nearly all of the popular, name brands. This, however, is right up there at the top with Cholula for me. What sets Off Kilter apart from the rest is the wide range of flavors. Each sauce has its own identifiable flavor profile: the pineapple peach has a sweet, subtle undertone that pairs well with essentially anything; the smokey red has a slight char, reminiscent of a flaming hot campfire; the groovy green is bright and fresh, literally made for a taco with a lime and Corona on the side; the cayenne is peppery, earthy, and acidic in the best way, delivering a good amount of heat with a smokey touch; and, of course, the orange honey rosemary peach delivers a citrusy zing that sneaks up from behind and gets you good. I'll put this hot sauce on anything. Genuinely. Try it in mac and cheese, or on a piece of toast. I love it so much that I purchased a tiny 15ml Nalgene bottle just so I can bring it with me when I go out to eat, because god knows I don't want boring Tabasco on my tacos anymore.
